Challenge
The Challenge was city guidelines for placing fiber, whenever the placing was under a cross street. They wanted to make sure that the Innerduct has at least 3’ distance from any utilities under the street.
Solution
We had to use core drill to drill and expose utilities and make sure that the distance from the Utilities underground is maintained. We had to do this on each cross street and had to make sure all core holes were correctly sealed at the end of the Project.
Results
The subdivision was successfully completed with proper guidelines by the Client and the City by placing Innerduct with directional drilling and placing the fiber in the Innerduct.
